Mr.V.Veluchamy, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for respondents 1 to 3. Since no adverse order is passed as against the fourth respondent, notice to the fourth respondent is dispensed with.

2. The petitioner seek for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider his representation dated 06.06.2023, wherein and whereby, he sought to not to pay the compensation amount to one Chinnasami/4th respondent herein and if any amount is awarded as compensation, the same may be deposited in the Court till the disposal of the Civil Suit in O.S.No.132 of 2021 pending on the file of the Sub Court, Palacode.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.06.2023.

4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 submitted that respondents 1 to 3 may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits in accordance with law.

5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, this Court directs respondents 1 to 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner's dated 06.06.2023, on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Page Nos.3/5

There shall be no order as to costs.
