ORDER

This Suo Motu Case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by the Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu.W.P.(Crl.) No.618 of 2025.

2. The case in C.C.No.537 of 2024 was taken on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Erode Taluk, Erode for the alleged offence under Sections 279 and 304(A) of I.P.C.

3. When the matter was called, the accused was present before the Court and pleaded guilty.

4. Considering the overall nature of the accident, the fact that the accused has been facing the case for a long time and that he has now pleaded guilty, this Court is of the view that a penalty of fine of Rs.200/- for the offence under Section 279 of IPC and Rs.300/- for the offence under Section 304(A) of IPC shall be imposed. The fine amount shall be paid by the accused on the next date of hearing before the Trial Court.

5. Accordingly, the C.C.No.537 of 2024 on the file of the Additional Mahila Court, Erode, Erode shall stands disposed of and this Suo Motu Transfer Case stands allowed.

10.10.2025 mp electronically alone. The Trial Court shall take note of the order and accordingly classify the case pending before them as allowed / dismissed / disposed of, etc, and while doing so, consider any applications such as disposal of properties, etc., and pass appropriate orders, as may be necessary.
