PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in B.C.D.F.G.I.S.S.S.V.No.98/2024 passed by the 2nd respondent dated 27.09.2024 and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu viz., C.Rajesh, S/o. Chinnikrishnan, aged about 52 years, who is now detained in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai before this Court and set him at liberty.

Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent Authority vide G.O.Rt.No.7796, Home, Prohibition and Excise (X) Department, dated 11.11.2024.
Thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken and the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
