ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's renewal of auto rickshaw permit applications dated 04.02.2019 and 24.09.2024 in
respect of vehicle number TN-02/AY-4621 for the period from 2018 to 2023 and 2023 to 2028 forthwith.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondent is directed to consider the application submitted by the petitioner for renewal of auto rickshaw permit for his auto bearing Registration No.TN-02/AY-4621 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
