2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner, Paragraph No.5 of the order dated 23.11.2023 is modified as follows:

"5. Accordingly, the Writ Petitions are allowed. Consequently, there shall be a direction to the respondent herein, to settle the petitioners' claim for difference/arrears of wages for the period between 01.09.19 to 30.11.21, 01.09.19 to 31.05.22, 01.09.19 to 31.10.21, 01.09.19 to 31.01.22 and 01.09.19 to 30.04.22 respectively together with terminal benefits, namely Gratuity and Encashment of Leave, after revising the same, based on the scale of pay payable to them on the month of their retirement with interest at the rate of 6% per annum, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs."
