2. This case is registered for alleged offences under Sections 379 and 34 of IPC. The incident occurred on 17.10.2020. The accused is said to have stolen the cell phone of the defacto complainant. The first accused was split Page No.1 of 3

up in CC.No.478/2021, wherein he pleaded guilty and undergone the punishment period. Asfar as the first accused is concerned, the summon is not served sofar.

3. Considering the nature of the allegations and the matter is pending from the year 2020, and as such no useful purpose will be served in keeping the matter pending.

4. Accordingly, the case in C.C.No.549 of 2021 of VII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, George Town Taluk, Chennai, stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is disposed of.
