issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the illegal encroachment made by the fifth respondent on the waterway flowing from Alaveri Lake to Pandiyan Lake, flowing between the land in Survey No.161/2, 198/14 and 161 at Sarvamadam Village, Udayarpalayam Taluk, Ariyalur District by considering the petitioner's representations dated 16.11.2020.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Without going into the merits of the matter, since the issue is of waterway, Shri Prabakar states he shall instruct the Tahsildar to have the waterway cleared and dredged, if required, so that there is free flow of water.

2. Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
