This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent police to register the FIR on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner dated 31.10.2022 vide CSR.No.544/2022 dated 31.10.2022 and investigate the matter in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that one Mani and others have illegally trespassed into the petitioner's property and damaged the compound wall; the petitioner had given repeated complaints in this regard on 12.10.2022, 31.10.2022 & 14.11.2022; so far no action has been taken by the respondent police. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.288 of 2022 for the offences under Sections 448, 427 & 506(i) IPC on 30.11.2022.

5. Since the respondent police initiated action by registering the FIR, the respondents are directed to expedite the investigation and do the needful in accordance with law.
