O R D E R

Ms.Keerthana Shenoi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice for the respondents and is armed with instructions to enable final disposal of this Writ petition, even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner seeks a mandamus directing the respondents, who are officials of Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd. (TANGEDCO) to consider her representation dated 04.09.2023, wherein she has prayed that she be permitted to remit the admitted arrears of sum of Rs.6,36,972/- in six installments. Inter alia, she also prays for restoration of electricity service connection bearing No.069- 06- 492.

3. Ms.Keerthana Shenoi, learned counsel would assure the Court that the representation of the petitioner will be considered and disposed in accordance with law and with the prevailing Rules and Regulations, expeditiously. 2/4

4. For this purpose, the petitioner will appear before R2, being the Assistant Engineer, Tamil Nadu Electricity Generation and Distribution Ltd., (North), Kodungaiyur O & M /CEDC on 08.11.2023 at 10.30 a.m., without anticipating any further notice in this regard.

5. R2 shall hear the petitioner, consider her representation dated 04.09.2023 and pass orders thereupon within a period of three (3) weeks from date of personal hearing i.e., on or before 29.11.2023 in accordance with law.

6. This Writ petition is disposed as above. No costs. Connected Miscelleneous petition is closed.
