The petitioner is aggrieved by the result published by the Tamil Nadu 1/5

Public Service Commission on 12.10.2022, under which, the petitioner's application for the post of Assistant Director of Cooperative Audit has been rejected.

2. Instead of challenging the said rejection order, the petitioner has given a representation to the respondent on 02.11.2022 seeking reasons for rejection. When the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission has already rejected the petitioner's application seeking for appointment to the post of Assistant Director of Cooperative Audit, he has to necessarily challenge the same in the manner known to him under law. However, instead of challenging the rejection order dated 12.10.2022, he has given a representation, thereafter seeking for reasons for the said rejection.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition seeking for mandamus as prayed for in this writ petition cannot be entertained. The petitioner will have to necessarily challenge the rejection order dated 12.10.2022 referred to supra.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 12.10.2022 issued by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, rejecting the candidature of the petitioner's application in the manner known to the petitioner under law.
