The petitioners herein apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police in Crime No.105 of 2025. In the F.I.R. Suo motu complaint registered by the police in Crime No.105 of 2025 dated 19.08.2025 indicates that the petitioners 1/4
along with others under the guise of celebrating a birthday party at midnight on 18.08.2025 and 19.08.2025 have carried a patta knife and roamed around the bus stand threatening the public, that they would damage the vehicles to show their power and also wanted to disturb the public peace.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that no such occurrence took place and these petitioners were not present at the alleged time of occurrence and that no birthday party celebration in public was conducted.
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent submits that the CCTV footage and the video clipping circulated by the accused persons themselves to the social media group indicate their involvement in the alleged crime.
4. Considering the nature of the complaint, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
