The Contempt Petition is filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish to respondents herein for the willful disobedience of the order dated 19.09.2019 of this Court passed in W.P.No.24294 of 2019.

This criminal original petition has been filed against the respondents for their willful disobedience of the order dated 19.09.2019 of this Court passed in W.P.No.24294 of 2019.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that with regard to the writ petition in W.P.No.24294 of 2019, this petition has been filed, and also five other petitioners in different writ petitions have also filed contempt petitions. He further submits that in one of those six writ petitions, already writ appeal was preferred and interim order has also been passed.

3. Since in one case of those six writ petitions, writ appeal was preferred and the Division Bench has seized of the matter and also interim order has been passed, this contempt petition is liable to be closed.

4. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to pursue the remedy before the Division Bench.
