C.M.P.No.468 of 2024 in C.M.A.SR.No.135739 of 2023 KRISHNAN RAMASAMY, J.

This petition has been filed to accept the cause title in the above appeal.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 2nd claimant/father of the deceased had died on 06.06.2022 itself, i.e., even prior to the passing of the award by the Tribunal.

However, since the petitioners are not aware of the said fact, they could not take any steps to bring the same to the knowledge of the Court below.

3. Further, he would submit that after the demise of the 2nd claimant, only the petitioners herein are the surviving legal heirs of the deceased and hence, he requests this Court to accept the cause title in the above appeal.

4. By recording the above submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this petition is allowed.

5. The Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendments and list the above appeal in the regular course.
