Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the fourth respondent in Survey No.247/13 at Perali Village, Kunnam Taluk, Perambalur District within a stipulated time period as imposed by this Hon'ble Court, based on the representation of the petitioner dated 05.08.2022.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by the fourth respondent in Survey No.247/13 at Perali Village, Kunnam Taluk, Perambalur District, within the time stipulated by this Court, on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 05.08.2022.
2. A perusal of the 'A' register enclosed at page 14 of the typedset would show that the land covered in Survey No.247/13 in the place in question is a Government Punjai and classified as 'Tharisu'. Therefore, we do not find any merit in the writ petition seeking for a direction for removal of encroachment in the Tharisu land in question. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
