ORDER

A perusal of the impugned order passed by the Additional Mahila Court at Egmore in Crl.M.P.No.581 of 2023 in D.V.C.No.389 of 2017, dated 18.06.2024 shows that an appeal is maintainable as against the said order.

2. When a statutory appeal remedy under Section 29 of the Act 43 of 2005 is maintainable, I am not inclined to exercise my revisional 1/3

jurisdiction under Article 227 of the Constitution of India even it is available in exceptional circumstances.

3. This Civil Revision Petition is dismissed by granting liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the concerned authority. The period taken in prosecuting this Civil Revision Petition shall stand excluded. No costs. 23.10.2024 Index : yes/no Speaking order/Non-speaking order : yes/no grs Note to the Registry:- The original of the certified copy of the order passed in Crl.M.P.No.581 of 2023 in D.V.C.No.389 of 2017, shall be returned to the learned Counsel for the petitioner after obtaining usual endorsement.
