The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondent to consider his on-line application dated 29.05.2024 seeking to survey the land in patta no.9035, situated in S.No.286/4 with an extent of 1.49 1/2 acres, G.C.S.Kandigai (B) Village, R.K. Pettai Taluk, Tiruvallur District.
2. By consent of both the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as respondent, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
3. It is the case of the petitioners that the above mentioned property is ancestral property and the patta stand in the name of the petitioners in patta No.9035. The petitioners submitted an on-line application in application No.2024/0123/01/002854 dated 29.05.2024 seeking survey of the land and the same has not been considered till date. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondent would submit that the on-line application of the petitioner for survey of land will be considered on its own merits and appropriate orders will be passed.

In view of the above submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue a direction to the respondent to consider the on-line application of the petitioner dated 29.05.2024 and pass final orders, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
