O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to register the petitioner complaint dated 24.09.2022 on the file of 2nd respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he had given a complaint on 24.09.2022 on the allegation of cheating and so far no action taken. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.No.830/P4/ALP/Pr/2022 and enquiry is pending.

5. Since the petitioner had given a complaint four months back, no practical action has been taken. Therefore, the second respondent police is directed to register the case and complete the enquiry and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
