Challenge has been made against the interim maintenance ordered in DVC Page 1 / 4

proceedings.

2. The Trial Court has fixed the monthly maintenance at Rs.15,000/-, viz., Rs.10,000/- for the wife and Rs.5000/- for the minor child. Taking note of the fact that matter has been decided without going into the merits, this Court fixed the maintenance at Rs.10,000/- to both wife and children which has been agreed by both the parties and the same was recorded by this Court vide order dated 05.12.2024.

3. Today, memo is filed by the first respondent calculating the amount from the date of order in DVC.No.1 of 2016, i.e., 06.02.2016 to 06.01.2024 to the tune of Rs.10,70,000/-, that apart school fees is fixed to Rs.3,20,754/-. Now, it is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that a sum of Rs.8,35,000/- is already paid by the petitioner to the respondent including the school fees.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record.

5. Considering the above, the petitioner is directed to pay a sum of Rs.5,47,754/- including school fees to the respondent and is further directed to pay Page 2 / 4

the future school fees also.
