The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324, 307, 506(ii) of IPC and under Section 3 of Tamil Nadu Public Property (Prevention of Damage & Loss) Act, 1992 in Crime No.615 of 2020, seek anticipatory bail.

2. It is stated that the petitioner and the other accused person had assaulted the defacto complainant. It is also seen that there are 13 previous cases are pending against the petitioner herein of similar nature. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is a social worker and that all the cases have been foisted against him.

3. However, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. This Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
