The learned counsel for the petitioner requests modification of the order of learned Principal Sessions Judge of Kancheepuram at Chengalpattu, wherein, among other conditions, it was directed that the petitioner/accused shall deposit a sum of Rs.30,000/- to the credit of crime No.551 of 2023 where F.I.R had been registered under Sections 341, 397, 506(ii) of I.P.C and 8(b) of I.T.P Act.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would deposit title deeds for property worth about Rs.50,000/-, that the title deeds may be taken into consideration as an alternate condition for depositing a sum of Rs.30,000/-. However, the learned Judicial Magistrate is put on notice that he/she should verify the title deeds of property and ensure value of the property is not worth less than Rs.50,000/-. Only after satisfaction of the genuineness of the documents, the learned Judicial Magistrate shall accept the same in lieu of deposit of cash of Rs.30,000/- by following the procedure for deposit of title deeds.

3. Time is extended for depositing/producing the title deeds, till 01.12.2023. The learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Tambaram. is directed to follow necessary procedures with regard to deposit of title deeds.
