Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024 and thereby direct the respondents not to shift the high tension cable wire from adjacent vacant land to petitioner's residential house situated at Survey No.373/2, R.C.C. Building, Punganoor Village, Ranipet District.

O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this Writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024 and thereby not to shift the high tension cable wire from adjacent vacant land to petitioner's residential house.
2. Mr.S.Madhusudhan, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The case of the petitioner is that, he is an agriculturalist and he is having an ancestral property situated at Survey No.373/2, R.C.C. Building, Punganoor Village, Ranipet District and the same was acquired by him, vide registered partition deed dated 05.04.1999 bearing Doc.No.264 of 1999 and all the revenue records stands in the name of the petitioner. While so, pursuant to the request made by one Thanigai seeking electricity service connection, the respondent authorities are trying to shift the High Tension cable wire lines over the petitioner's above said residential property and on 23.07.2024, the officials visited the petitioner's property and surveyed the same, without any prior notice. Thereby, on 23.07.2024, the petitioner made a representation before the respondents seeking not shift the High tension wire lines above the petitioner's property and he also sent a legal notice dated 06.09.2024, which evoked no response. Hence, this Writ petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024 and thereby not to shift the high tension cable wire line from adjacent vacant land to the petitioner's residential house.

5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that, appropriate orders will be passed on the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024 within the time stipulated by this Court.

In view of the aforesaid submissions, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 23.07.2024 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
