1.This writ petition has been been filed by the petitioner, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the Respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application dated 08.08.2019 for registration as Traditionally Trained and Hereditary Siddha Practitioner of Indian Medicine in Tamil Nadu.

2.The case of the petitioner is that on 08.08.2018, the petitioner herein, Mr.D.K.Jayaraman, resident of Thiruvanamalai District filed a representation to the respondent, Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Department of Indian Medicine and Homeopathy, Chennai, requesting for registration as a "Traditionally Trained and Hereditary Siddha Practitioner of Indian Medicine". date, the respondent has not passed any order upon his representation. Hence the present Writ petition. 3.Heard both sides.

4.This natural requires enquiry in presence of the petitioner by the respondent. The respondent may issue a notice to examine the petitioner and also examine the records he produces and also other relevant factors and thereafter a detail order either recognizing him as Traditionally Trained and Hereditary Siddha Practitioner of Indian Medicine or rejecting his request shall be passed. At any rate if any decision taken, reasons may be given. The respondent is requested to pass a detailed order on the said representation on or before 28.02.2020. 5.With the above direction, this Writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
