O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent/police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 22.01.2019 and vide C.S.R.No.13 of 2019 dated 27.01.2019 to file the FIR and investigate the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has given a complaint against one Kumar by alleging that he had cheated the petitioner and several others in the name of conducting a chit and taken away their money; despite the complaint was given as early as 2019, no action has been taken by the police so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 27.11.2019, current paper enquiry has been initiated in CSR.No.13 of 2019 and the same has been closed.

5. Having not satisfied with the enquiry, the petitioner is said to have sent the complaint through RPAD to the Superintendent of Police, Krishnagiri 2/4

on 21.11.2022. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the said complaint is not available on the file.

6. Under these circumstances, the first respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and do the needful on the complaint given by the petitioner on 21.11.2022 in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
