Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to declare the petitioner's probation in the category of Junior Assistant by considering his representation dated 25.02.2019 so as to enable to get promotion as Forester.
2. Heard the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
3. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Junior Assistant on compassionate ground in the year 2000. Till date, the petitioner's probation was not declared, thereby the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner was not able to get further promotion. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation dated 25.02.2019 to the respondents seeking declaration of his probation. However, the petitioner's representation was not considered by the respondents till date. Hence this writ petition.
4. Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the reasonable time.
5. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has also conceded the request made by the learned Senior Counsel for the petitioner.
6. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court hereby directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.02.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. For ready reference, the petitioner is directed to send a copy of the representation along with a copy of this order to the respondents to enable them to pass appropriate orders.
