ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to consider the online application of the petitioner vide Can No.133021519575488 and application number 2022/0103/02/198216 dated 15.07.2022 and change the patta in the name of the petitioner for the land in Survey Number 142 to an extent of 27 cents situated in Maathur Village, Madhavaram Taluk, Chennai District.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that he acquired the property in S.No.142 of an extent of 11782 sq.ft. (27 cents) by virtue of vide sale deed dated 12.07.2022 situated in Maathur Village, Maduranthagam Taluk, Chengalpet District. Since the Patta for the above said property stood in the name of vendor of petitioner's vendor, the petitioner made an online application dated 15.07.2022 before the respondent, but the same was not considered. Hence the present writ petitioner has been filed seeking the aforesaid relief.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders within the time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has no objection for the said order being passed.

5. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, within a period 3/5

of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above observation and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
