ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents police not to harass the petitioners on the complaint given by the defacto complainant.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that they are being harassed by the 2nd respondent Police in the guise of enquiry on the complaint given by the defacto complainant.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that on the complaint given by one Madesh on 28.10.2022, current paper enquiry has been initiated in CSR.No.266 of 2019 on 11.07.2019 and the same is pending.

5. However, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the repeated complaints are being given by the person by name Madesh by raising the very same allegation and in this regard, the petitioners herein have filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.21157 of 2021 and this Court directed the respondent Police to complete the enquiry in CSR No.266 of 2019

within two weeks. However the enquiry has not been completed yet. Hence, I feel it is appropriate for the 2nd respondent to complete the enquiry in C.S.R.No.266 of 2019, by taking into consideration of all these facts and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above observation, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of.
