O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ petition, Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 submitted a written instruction given by the Tahsildar, Katpadi vide letter dated 27.01.2024.

2. The Tahsildar states that the said property has been classified as pattai (Road Poromboke) in Village Registers. Patta was erroneously granted. The subject property was handed over to the Highways Department for road development projects. Thus, the patta was cancelled and the land is in possession of the Highways Department. There is no encroachments as on date. Thus, no further adjudication is required. Consequently, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
