Respondent Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to consider the petitioner's online application No.2022/0103/32/435696 dated 15.10.2022 together with representation dated 20.10.2022 sent for granting patta in respect of the lands measuring 0.10.0 hectares, 0.15.0 hectares and 0.02.5 hectares in S.F.no.344/8, 344/7 and 344/7 respectively situate at Sevoor Village, Avinashi Taluk, Tiruppur District within a stipulated time. ORDER

The petitioner and 4 others have purchased a land and made application through online 15.10.2022 before the respondent for granting patta in favour of the petitioner and however, the same was not considered so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court seeking an appropriate remedy.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Addl. Government Pleader for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner and pass appropriate order within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request made by the petitioner, this Court directs the 2/4

respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.10.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after providing opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
