ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.JOTHIRAMAN, J.) The writ of mandamus has been instituted to direct the first respondent to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on 05.10.2023, seeking premature release of the convict prisoner, who is the husband of the petitioner.

Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner seeking premature release of the convict prisoner was rejected by the Government in G.O.(D).No.1542, Home (Prison-IV) Department dated 23.12.2024.

Thus, it is left open to the petitioner to challenge the said order in the manner known to law. With this liberty, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
