The petitioner is the first accused in C.C.No.13 of 2021 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Coonoor. A private compliant has been filed against them by one Syed Sulaiman. 1/4
2. This petition is filed for expediting the trial on the ground that the petitioner is bed ridden. Therefore, the trial has to be expedited for her to actively participated in the trial before her health fails. From the adjudication, this Court finds that the complainant been examined as P.W.1 and the matter is posted for further examination of witnesses on the side of the prosecution.
3. The counsel for the petitioner is not in a position to tell how many witnesses to be examined on the side of the prosecution. He has submitted that as far as the respondent is concerned he wants to examine two witnesses, there is yet another accused in this case. Therefore, this Court is not able to fix any specific time for completion of the trial. However, the trial court is directed to taken up the health condition of this petitioner and expedite the trial as early as possible.
4. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
