O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a mandamus, to direct the respondent/Police to issue a Non-Traceable Certificate of certain property documents, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2023.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondentPolice, on instructions, would submit that the Director General of Police had issued a Circular vide Rc.No.2029209/General.1 (1)/2022, dated 01.04.2022 to all the Police stations, giving guidelines as to how the request for NonTraceable Certificate has to be considered.

3. Therefore, considering the said submission, the respondent/Police is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 14.10.2023, in terms of the Circular of the Director General of Police dated 01.04.2022, within a period of four weeks.

4. With the above observation, this Writ Petition stands ordered. There Pg.Nos.2/4

shall be no order as to costs.
