ORDER

By consent of learned counsel on both sides, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The present writ petition is filed praying for a writ of mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to dispose the Appeal No.11530/N3/2023, filed under Section 47-A(5) of the Indian Stamps Act for the fixation of the market value relating to the Sale Deed Doc.No.3638/2022.

3. At the outset, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner's appeal in Appeal No. 11530/N3/2023 dated 11.04.2023 would be disposed of within a time frame to be fixed by this Court, which was agreed to by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. In view thereof, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to dispose of the petitioner's appeal in Appeal No. 2/4

11530/N3/2023 dated 11.04.2023, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of uploading of web copy without waiting for the receipt of certified copy, after issuing notice and affording a reasonable opportunity of hearing to petitioner and any other interested parties. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any views with regard to the merits of the case and it is open to the concerned respondent to consider the matter on its own merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
