ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 273 days in filing the appeal.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. The learned counsel for the first respondent does not have any serious objection in allowing the petition.

4. Despite the receipt of notice, second respondent neither appeared nor entered appearance through his counsel.

5. The petitioner - General Manager of TNSTC, Coimbatore, would state that due to administrative reasons such as obtaining opinion from the panal advocate, placing file before the Appeal Committee for the purpose of getting approval, etc., delay of 273 days occurred in preferring the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

6. The reasons assigned by the petitioner appears to be acceptable. Therefore, this Court is inclined to allow this Civil Miscellaneous Petition on payment of costs of Rs.500/- payable in favour of the High Court Legal Services Authority, Madras High Court, Chennai on or before 10.12.2025. It is made clear that if the above said order is not complied with as mentioned supra, this petition shall automatically stand dismissed without any further reference to this Court.
