PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to pass appropriate order on the representation of the petitioner dated 04.10.2024 to revoke the suspension, within a reasonable period as may be fixed by this Court and pass orders.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to pass appropriate order on the representation of the petitioner dated 04.10.2024 to revoke the suspension, within a reasonable period as may be fixed by this Court and pass orders.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner who was working as a Sub-Registrar at Mangalampettai was placed under suspension by the first respondent in his proceedings Roc.No.35753/B2/2021 dated 04.10.2021. Thereafter, the first respondent called for an enquiry and the petitioner also appeared for the enquiry, but till date enquiry was not conducted. Hence, the petitioner submitted representation before the first respondent on 23.09.2024 to revoke his suspension. However, the same was not considered. Hence, this petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would be suffice if this Court issues a direction to the first respondent to consider his representation and pass orders.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that they will consider the case of the petitioner and pass orders in the manner known to law.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 04.10.2024 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
