ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks protection alleging that police is trying to harass him.

2. However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) states that on the complaint against this petitioner for alleged offence under Section 498A of IPC, summons under Section 160 Cr.P.C been issued to the petitioner herein for his appearance on 15.10.2023. The petitioner had not participated in the enquiry, therefore, again second summon been issued for his appearance on 22.11.2023 i.e., tomorrow. It is also stated that the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) that if the petitioner cooperate with the enquiry, there will not be any coercive steps for secure his presence.

3. Recording the same, this petition is disposed of. The petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police tomorrow as per the summons and cooperate with the investigation, on his appearance, enquiry shall be done in accordance with law under the guidelines laid by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. 21.11.2023 Index : Yes/No rkp Page No.2/4
