ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to conduct proper investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.127 of 2025 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that when she was travelling in a bus from Salem New Bus Stand to her home town, her hand bag with 7 1⁄2 sovereigns gold ornaments were stolen by an unidentified woman on 11.01.2025. In this regard the she had given a complaint to the respondent and a case in Crime No.127 of 2025 has been registered under section 303 [2] of BNS. The grievance of the petitioner is that though a complaint has been registered there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present petition for aforesaid relief.
3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] on instructions submitted that the investigation is in progress and they will file the final report expeditiously.
4. In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to expedite investigation and file the final report expeditiously.
