This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.98 of 2016 pending on the file of Judicial Magistrate, Paramathi, Vellore.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing on behalf of the first respondent submitted that the main case itself has been disposed of in the trial Court and the case ended in acquittal.

5. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
