Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to the property owned by the petitioner being the land property in survey numbers namely S.No.451/2 and 20 cents in S.No.451/3 in reference numbers CAN ID 133020828712186 vide application numbers (1) 2024/0105/01/594287 - S.No.451/3, (2) 2024/0105/01/594283 - S.No.451/2 and (3) 2024/0105/01/594281 - S.No.451/3 and 451/4.

The petitioner seeks mandamus to the respondents to issue patta in respect of the properties in S.Nos.451/2, 451/3 and 451/4. 2/6

2. The petitioner would submit that she had purchased the aforesaid properties as also an extent of 22 cents in S.No.452/4. She had applied for issuance of patta with reference to all the properties. However, except for issuing patta with reference to properties in S.No.452/4, pattas were not granted with reference to the other survey numbers. Despite the petitioner's representation, the respondents have not taken up application and issued patta. Therefore, she is before this Court.

3. The online application for patta had been made on 15.07.2024 with reference to the aforesaid survey numbers and the 2nd respondent had visited the property on 03.09.2024 and conducted survey. However, the applications are yet to be processed. Therefore, since the respondents have not performed their statutory duty, mandamus is issued to the respondents to issue patta, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6

4. The Writ Petition is allowed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
