O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent police to register the FIR based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 31.12.2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was cheated in an online transaction and he had lost Rs.3,00,000/-; due to which, he had given a complaint to the 2nd respondent police; but, so far no fruitful action has been taken.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, a current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.S.R No.2112 of 2021 and the matter has been transferred to the Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime, Kanathur for further investigation. 2/4

5. Recording the aforesaid submissions of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), the Inspector of Police, Cyber Crime, Kanathur, is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and do the needful in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
