Prayer : Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st Respondent to issue necessary direction to the 2nd respondent to look into the matter of proposal of detaining the Petitioner's husband namely Kannadasan under Goondas Act, unnecessarily based on the Petitioner's representation made to the 1st Respondent on 21.08.2017 in person.

O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed to direct the 1st Respondent to issue direction to the 2nd respondent to look into the matter of proposal of detaining the Petitioner's husband.

2. The petitioner has filed this petition to direct the first respondent in respect of the proposal of detaining the petitioner's husband, namely Kannadasan. In is seen that already two FIR's in Crime Nos.532 & 535 of 2017 have been registered against the said Kannadasan as such finding that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

person is a habitual offender, a proposal has been placed to detain him under Goondas Act and it is still pending. At this stage, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the first respondent to look into the matter. Therefore, at this stage, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be considered since it is only a proposal to detain the petitioner's husband under Goondas Act.
