Respondents Prayer:- Contempt petition has been filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, praying to initiate contempt proceeding against the respondents for having willfully committed contempt of this Court order dated 13.10.2023 in W.P.No.27611 of 2021 and punish the respondents as per the provisions of the Contempt of Court Act, 1971.

ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for non compliance of the order dated 13.10.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.No.27611 of 2023, thereby directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.07.2018 and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that as directed by this Court, the disciplinary authority viz., the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Vellore, considered the petitioner's representation and passed an order by the proceedings dated 28.10.2025. He also produced a copy of the proceeding dated 28.10.2025, before this Court.

Recording the above submissions, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
