ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 16.08.2024.

2. In the year 2016, there was a clash between two groups in the area, which had resulted in registration of the FIRs in Crime No.3398 of 2015 and Crime No.1205 of 2016, the petitioner was arrayed as accused in the above cases. After trial, the petitioner was acquitted by the trial Court. The third respondent used to slap Section 110 Cr.P.C. as against the petitioner mechanically for statistical purpose to maintain the history-sheet in H.S.No.6 of 2016. On 16.08.2024, the petitioner had given a representation to the respondents to remove his name from history-sheet maintained by the third respondent and not to harass him by foisting a case under Section 110 Cr.P.C. Even after receipt of the representation, no action has been taken to remove the petitioner's name from the history sheet in H.S.No.6 of 2016 maintained by the third respondent. Therefore, the present Writ Petition is filed for the above relief.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the representation, dated 16.08.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

5. With the above observations and direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
