Heard Mr. G.Ethirajulu, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. K.Karthikeyan, Learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the Respondents, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been issued for directing the First and Second Respondents to direct the Third Respondent to conduct election for the Board of Trustees for the Temple of the Third Respondent in terms of the Scheme framed under Section 64 of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the Respondents, on instructions, submits that the draft voters' list would be published before 07.01.2024 and after receiving objections and requests for inclusion, the final voters' list would be published by 24.01.2024 so that election could be held in 2/4

the First Week of February 2024, and the new set of office bearers could assume charge by 15.02.2024, and a memo dated 20.10.2023 to that effect has been filed. In view of the aforesaid submissions made, nothing remains for further consideration in the Writ Petition, but if the Petitioner still has any grievance to be redressed in the matter, he is not precluded from working out his remedies before the proper forum in the manner recognized by law. In fine, the Writ Petition is disposed with the aforesaid observations. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
