Respondents Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the order passed by the 2nd respondent in his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.18189/2019/U4, dated 19.09.2019 and quash the same and direct the respondents not to allot in future any school ground or place for any other purpose.

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.,] (1)The Court heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner ; Mr.M.Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader [HR&CE] accepting notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 5 and Mr.R.Udhayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepting notice on behalf of respondents 2 to 4. (2)The matter in issue pertains to allotment of land/school ground in favour of the 6th respondent and the said proceedings of the 2nd respondent dated 19.09.2019, is put to challenge before this Court.

(3)Mr.R.Udhayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 to 4, on instructions, would submit that the total extent of land covered under S.No.1151/1 [RS No.828/1] at Perundurai Village and Taluk, Erode District, is 1.44.50 Hectares and the said lands are classified as School Ground as per the village records and out of the said lands, 0.06.10 Hectares of land has been ordered to be transferred in favour of the 5th respondent temple and was re-thinking of the said decision and the impugned proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 19.09.2019 has also been looked on. (4)The said submission on instructions, is placed on record. (5)In the light of the said development, nothing remains for further adjudication in this writ petition.

(6)Therefore, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
