ORDER

This Suo Motu case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by this Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.)No.618 of 2025.

2. The case was registered in Cr.No.246 of 2015 for the alleged offence under Section 4(1)(aaa) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act. The allegation is that the accused was found to be in possession of 366 Tin bear bottles. There is no previous or subsequent case against the accused. Due to the passage of Page No.1 of 3

time, a meaningful trial is unlikely, and no useful purpose would be served.

3. Accordingly, the case in CC.No.63 of 2015 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court, Vanur, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram, stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is disposed of.
