ORDER

This Suo Motu case is dealt with in an extraordinary manner by this Dedicated Bench, pursuant to Suo Motu W.P.(Crl.)No.618 of 2025.

2. The case was registered in Cr.No.27 of 2022 for the alleged offence under Section 4(1)(a) of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act. The allegation is that the accused was found to be in possession of 10 packets of ID Arrack Page No.1 of 3

each containing 250 ML. There is no previous or subsequent case against the accused. Due to the passage of time, a meaningful trial is unlikely, and no useful purpose would be served.

3. Accordingly, the case in STC.No.94 of 2022 on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court No.II, Tindinvanam Taluk, Villupuram, stands quashed and this Suo Motu Transfer case is disposed of.
