ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and pass order based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 05.10.2024 in accordance with law.
2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents 2, 3 and 5, submitted that, already, based on the said representation given by the petitioner, the Police had registered the FIR in Crime No.260 of 2024 against the respondents 6 to 8 herein for the offences under Sections 329(3), 324(4), 351(3), 296(b), 3(1)(a), 3(1)(g), 3(2)(va) and 3(1)(r) of the BNS, 2023. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 05.10.2024 through post.
3. Since the FIR had already been registered, the first respondent-District Collector is directed to conduct enquiry under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 and pass appropriate 2 / 4
orders. Further, the fifth respondent-Police is directed to investigate the matter and take appropriate steps to secure the accused and also file charge-sheet within a period of 2 months from today, before appropriate Court.
4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.35447 of 2024 is closed. 12.11.2024 cs To
