Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of certiorari to call for the records relating to the Technical Sanction in ROC No.NKL/9SW7JA77/29644/2024/TCP dated 04.10.2024 and the subsequent Layout Approval vide SWP/DTCP/ NAMAKKAL/LAYOUT APPROVAL No.:253/2024 granted by the Respondent No.2 with respect to the agriculture land situated in S.F.67/3B1, 67/4A, 67/5A1, 67/5A2A1, 67/5A,2B1, 67/6A1 of Kaliyanoor Village, Pallipalayam Panchayat, Kumarapalayam Taluk, Namakkal to an extent of 1.40 Acres (or) 5684 sq.mt. And to quash the same.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The allegation made in the writ petition is that respondent No.8 is developing a residential colony on an agricultural land which belongs to him.

2. As to how the petitioner would suffer any legal injury has not been disclosed in the petition. Irrespective of whether or not the activity of respondent No.8 is in accordance with law, petitioner lacks locus standi.

Petition is dismissed for want of locus standi. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the interim applications stand closed.
