This petition has been filed to quash the case in C.C.No.421 of 2017 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Alandur against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 406, 420 of I.P.C. and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

2. It is stated by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) that the trial has already been commenced in the case and hence, the proceedings cannot be quashed at this Stage. 3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
