ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the first respondent to take necessary action and conduct enquiry against the above said persons' false propaganda against the order of this Court order and further to direct the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and his family on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 19.11.2022.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was instrumental in removing the encroachments made by the private respondents 5 to 13; even though the said private respondents have challenged the order of eviction, the same went unsuccessful; enraged on this, the private respondents have developed a motive against the petitioner and caused life threat to him; in this regard, the petitioner had given a representation dated 19.11.2022 to the respondents 1 to 4; since no action has been taken and no protection was also given to the life of the petitioner, the present petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that on the representation given by the petitioner on 19.11.2022, current paper enquiry has been initiated in C.No.398/DC WPT/CAMP/10P-Ins/2022 and the same will be completed as early as possible.

4. Since the petitioner had made serious allegations, the first respondent shall consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.11.2022

and do the needful in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
